Profhilo
Profhilo is a ground breaking beneath the skin injectable treatment that offers overall hydration and skin improvement for the whole face. The injections use pure stabilised hyaluronic acid which, after being injected into the immediate treatment area, spreads through the skin to aid moisture levels and improve skin cell turnover, restores the firmness of the skin and counteracts skin laxity. It forms a water-binding layer beneath the skin to provide all-over facial rejuvenation that simply improves the skin’s quality and appearance. This is why it has been affectionately referred to as an injectable moisturiser, or injectable skincare.
The most common arras of treatment includes the face and neck. Profhilo can also be use for decolletage; hands, arms, knees and abdomen.
How long does it last?
Approximately 6 months.
Will I see the results immediately?
Yes, you will see some subtle differences immediately after the treatment. However, we recommend allowing up to 2 weeks to see the full effects.
Is it painful?
As Profhilo is an injectable treatment, it can be slightly uncomfortable for some patients.
Will I bruise?
There is a small risk of bruising.
What do I need to do after having Profhilo?
- Avoid alcohol, aspirin or anti-inflammatory medication 24hrs after.
- Avoid wearing make up for up to 24 hours.
- Avoid any strenuous activity for up to 24 hours.
- Avoid saunas/sunbeds/steam rooms for 72 hours.
